The fire in the Exclusion Zone was liquidated
At 17:50, a fire in the forest area in the Exclusion Zone was liquidated.
25 units of fire-fighting equipment and 138 people were involved in extinguishing. Among them, there are 10 units of fire-fighting equipment, 2 auxiliary units (ARS-14), 3 units of MTW tractors with plows, and 47 forest fire station and forest protection personnel.
The radiation background in the cities of Kyiv, Chornobyl and on the industrial site of the ChNPP is within the limits of the norm, in particular:
In Kyiv, the radiation background is 12 μR/h (safe level - up to 30 μR/h).
In Chornobyl, the radiation background is 31 μR/h (safe level - up to 50 μR/h).
At Chornobyl NPP industrial site, the radiation background is 51.6 μR/h (safe level - up to 140 μR/h).
We remind that on June 5 at 10:10 in the exclusion zone and zone of unconditional (mandatory) resettling, the burning of a dry grass occurred, which was followed by the spread of a fire in a forest area of about 12 hectares.
At 18:05 on June 6, a fire was localized on a total area of about 2 hectares.
